The Institute of Leadership Architecture is the home of a new kind of leadership practitioner; one who goes beyond conversation to engineer lasting transformation. Built on the philosophy of Leadership by Design, TILA certifies coaches, HR professionals and leadership practitioners to deliver the Leadership Architecture methodology at the highest level.

Becoming a certified Leadership Architect is not a course. It is a transformation

The programme runs over three to six months as a live cohort experience. You do not learn Leadership Architecture, you live it. You work through all seven layers yourself first, as your own most important client. Only then do you learn to deliver it to others.

The journey moves through three deliberate layers:

STAGE 1:

Mastery of Self

(Months 1-2)

Full immersion in all seven layers of the framework. This is your personal transformation. By the end, you will have done the work — not read about it.

STAGE 2:

Mastery of Craft

(Months 3-4)

Training in the methodology, tools and facilitation approach behind each layer. Supervised practice. Case studies. Learning to deliver what you have lived.

STAGE 3:

Mastery of Systems

(Months 5-6)

Advanced application, your Leadership Architecture Practice Design, and preparation for final assessment.

The Assessment

Three components, all required to qualify: a written reflection demonstrating personal embodiment; a case study presentation showing practical application; and a live viva with Tessa - a professional dialogue to assess whether you are truly ready to carry this designation into the world.

On completion, you become a Certified Leadership Architect, accredited by The Institute of Leadership Architecture, with the designation, the licence, the materials and the community.

Founded by Tessa Grint, Global Leadership Architect

Tessa Grint has spent nearly twenty years studying, practising and redefining what it means to develop great leaders, from the inside out.

Her philosophy, Leadership by Design, was forged at the intersection of two worlds: the precision, performance, science and strategy of modern Western corporate leadership and the balance, presence, intuition and intentionality of ancient Eastern wisdom.

Splitting her time between London and Bangkok, Tessa lives in what she calls the beauty of duality and it is this duality that runs through every layer of Leadership Architecture.

Q: Is this only for coaches?

A: No. The accreditation is designed for any practitioner who works with leaders or develops people; coaches, HR professionals, consultants, L&D specialists and leadership practitioners of all kinds.

Q: Do I need existing qualifications to apply?

A: You do not need a specific qualification, but you do need experience working with leaders or in a leadership development context. The programme is designed for experienced practitioners, not beginners.

Q: How long does the programme take?

A: The full accreditation journey takes three to six months, delivered as a live cohort programme.

Q: What do I receive on completion?

A: The Certified Leadership Architect designation, a licence to use the framework in your practice, access to all programme materials and tools, and membership of the Leadership Architect Community.

Q: How much does it cost?
